The annual “ AMGA Statewide Shoot” is on Schedule for 29-30 May, 2010
At the Riverside Park Campground & Range Facility complex in Anderson, AK!
The
Festivities will begin on Saturday May 29 @ 10:00 AM!
Saturday
will consist of Subgun, Assault Rifle, and SBR staged competition. My thanks to
Matt Jones & Nathan Johnson for volunteering to run the competition program
for the Shoot!
Sunday
will begin the Day with Belt Fed Team Competition, to be followed by explosives
demonstrations, and open shoot period throughout the day. It’ll be a
awesome shoot! Lots of reactive & donated vehicle targets to Wow
both shooter & spectator alike!
Expect
to see a wide variety of Subguns, Assault rifles, Light, Medium, and Heavy
belt-fed MG’s, black powder mortars & cannons, and MORE!
The
City of Anderson has graciously donated a number of vehicles for us to
ventilate! (Not sure how many yet)
We
have reserved Ample Camping spots in advance, and it looks like we’ll
essentially have the entire facility to ourselves!
(For
those who’d like a bit less “Rustic” accommodations there are
several local Roadhoues that offer rooms in the Local area. Check the City
og Anderson , AK website for info)
(With
the exception of the Picnic pavilion of Saturday eve. It’s been
reserved for a graduation party).
Note:
We will assess a comp shoot entry fee to cover the costs of setting up the
Comp Shoot. ($15-20 We think, or less)
(We’d
also like to take up donations during the shoot to Show Anderson our
appreciation for their excellent venue, donating vehicles, set up
assistance, and Fire & Safety support)

Friday,
28 May- Check in & Campsite set up. (We may have a short
“Test & Sight in” in the evening)
Saturday,
29 May- Competition Events, Followed by “Meet & Greet” IN the
Eve
Sunday,
30 May- Belt fed Team Competition, Followed by explosives
demonstrations & open Shoot periods all day!
